This game is not the game to play only in one method. Acey Deucy: This is one of the well-known variations all over the world, and it is played likewise to standard version, but the starting is different. All of the checkers are outside the board, and should be put in the same method that a player enters a checker that was on the bar in the game. The roll of 1:2 is given special importance, allowing the player after moving the 1 and the 2, to choose any doubles move of his variety. A player also receives an extra turn after a roll of 1-2 or of doubles. In European version, player gets to re-roll after double rolling. Hyper Backgammon: As the name of the game suggest that it is quick paced action of the standard game. In this variation, every player gets only three checkers, which are played at the starting of the game on points 24, 23 and 22. Besides this small change, the game is played just like standard version, with the doubling cube and all. However, the omitted of the checkers assurances a speedier, sometimes even more serious game. Nackgammon: Nackgammon is same as backgammon, but with a different arrangement of a board with two checkers on each player’s 1 point and 2,3 checkers on the 8 point and 4 on the 6 and 12 points, to be accurate. This game was invented by Nack Ballard (thus the name), to force his students to practice positional play. Games tend to be longer, as you cannot easily begin with a 65 or 66 opening phase roll. Chouette: Chouette is another variation that allows multi player to take part in the game at the same time. When all players have join a game, the host begins the game and one person will play against all. This person who plays against all players is known as the Box.
